EaSI Microfinances
Epirus Bank, recognizing the dynamics and the room for development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and aiming at further strengthening employment and promoting the healthy development of very small enterprises - especially in the current conditions -, signed with the European Investment Fund (EIF) an agreement for a total amount of €5,000,000, for financing very small enterprises in the context of the EU program for employment and social innovation (EaSI).
With the support of the European Union, the EaSI will provide guarantees to Epirus Bank, allowing it to provide micro-credits to very small enterprises which otherwise would not be able to obtain financing, or to provide financing at reduced interest rates due to the guarantees provided.
In particular, the aim of the EaSI program is to provide financial support in order for beneficiaries to obtain access to micro-credits of up to € 25,000 with the guarantee of the EIF, to meet needs both for working capital, through one-time financing, and financing for the purchase of fixed assets.
At the same time, the program also includes the provision of focused education and training programs and counseling support and direction (Mentoring services) to beneficiaries that will be included in the program.
