Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Ioannis Vougioukas has been serving as Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Epirus since 2019.

Under his leadership, Bank of Epirus is implementing an ambitious transformation and growth strategy, strengthening its position within the Greek banking system and expanding its role as a modern financial institution with a nationwide perspective. With a strong focus on customer centricity, innovation, and sustainable growth, he plays a pivotal role in shaping the Bank’s strategic direction and creating long-term value for shareholders, employees, and the real economy.

He has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services sector. Throughout his professional career, he has held senior and executive management positions with leading banking and financial institutions in Greece and Southeastern Europe, including the National Bank of Greece (NBG), Piraeus Bank, Eurobank, Postbank Bulgaria, EFG Eurobank Bulgaria, DV01, and B2Kapital. Through these roles, he has gained extensive expertise in strategic management, business development, and the transformation of financial institutions.
